Rack the bar. Pull your phone out of your pocket. You’ve got ninety seconds before the next set and you want to log the one you just finished.

Until today, that meant waking up Safari, finding the right tab, waiting for it to reload, and hoping you didn’t lose your place. The training was on your phone. It just wasn’t of your phone.

That changes today. Tactical Trainer is now a native iOS app, available on the App Store.

The Delivery Channel Is the News

Here’s the thing we want to be straight about: the iOS app does everything the web app does. Same plans. Same Kent. Same logging, same templates, same percentages converted to real weights on the bar. Full parity, day one.

So if everything’s the same, what’s the news?

The news is where it lives. A native app sits on your home screen next to your camera and your messages. One tap and you’re in your workout—no browser, no tab, no reload. It’s there on your lock screen between sets. It’s there in the gym basement where signal is thin. It’s there the moment you think “what’s today’s session?” instead of three taps and a load spinner later.

For a training app, that’s not a small thing. The best program in the world doesn’t help if friction stands between you and logging the set. We removed the friction.

What You Get

Everything. That’s the short version.

  • All three templates — Fighter, Operator, and Zulu, with the same programming engine driving every percentage.
  • Kent, your AI training assistant — ask what’s on the schedule, adjust your week when life happens, log a set by telling him you did it.
  • Plan generation and tracking — build a plan, run a block, see your progress.
  • Your full account — same login, same history, same maxes. Nothing to migrate.

If you’ve been using Tactical Trainer in your browser, the app is the same training you already know, in a place that’s easier to reach.

Getting It

The app is free to download. Search “Tactical Trainer” on the App Store, or download it here:

Download on the App Store

If you’re already a subscriber: sign in and everything’s waiting—your plans, your history, your maxes. Nothing changes except how fast you get to them.

If you’re new: download the app and start your free trial. Pick a template, let the programming do its job, and ask Kent when you’re not sure. No browser required.

What’s Next

iOS is live. We’re already working on what comes after—deeper integration, refinements that only make sense when you carry your training in your pocket. As always, the roadmap bends toward what you tell us you need. Run a few sessions in the app and tell us what works and what doesn’t.

The programming was always good. Now it’s one tap away.

Train hard. Stay ready.
